Default good opener now gone dead - help?

I met a girl who worked in a nightclub behind the bar a few months back, we had a brief chat and I got her number. I texted her a couple of times inviting her to parties but no response. She didn't save my name and may or may not remember who exactly who i am.

Today I thought I'd try out some of the techniques mentioned on this forum and got a response.

    Here's what happened -

Me: I've got three (her name)'s in my phone, which one are you...the crazy one, the hot one or the shy one?

Her: who is this?! (1 min later)

    Me: I asked you first!

Her: i'd like to say the hot one. your guess is as good as mine tho (1 min later)

Me: Ok, so your definitely not the shy one cos u replied. R u blonde or brunette?

Her: i could get crazy if you like. who is this?!

Me: You would get crazy for me ? Nice, i like the sound of that

    Her: >missed her message here<

Me: Out of all the (her name)'s i know, i think you might be my favourite

Her: who is this? you are going from mysterious to annoying very quickly!

Me: And how am i meant to work out who u r!? u must be one of 2 girls so...do u have green fingers? (i remember she told me she also worked in landscape gardening)

    Her: correct.

Me: Ah, ok and do u deal in alcoholic beverages?

Her: i used to. not any more.

Me: The penny has dropped! Thought u were someone else at first

now gone cold anyone got any good lines for re-opening and keeping her interest up?

wait another few months and next time don't evade her question for so long. Instead of toying with her and ignoring her (setting a precedent for how all interactions would go with you), switch to some humor that clues her in on who you are. And if she gets testy, you can start qualifying her.

"I just enjoy meeting people, and I thought you were cool. Am I wrong on this?"

ok, good advice that makes perfect sense - just need to keep in this frame of mind when i'm texting her. tbh im not that fussed about her, just a good contact to try out a few lines with

i already made contact again after leaving it 2 days. here's what happened -

Me: So u left ur job at the club to focus on starting up your own gardening business

Her: if you are not telling me who you are then i feel compelled to not share my life choices with you. i do hope you understand. i mean, you could be anybody!!

Me: didn't think u seemed like the type of girl who would give her number to anybody. Now im not so sure! My name is (my name)

Her: people have my number for the parties so i never can tell! which party did you come to?

Me: Ok, i see not such a bad girl then. Its grim outside hope u dont have to work today

Her: (my name) i know this is rude but i can't remember you. i met so many people at that warehouse! no work today thank god.

Me: it was a while ago! Cant remember u too well either - intelligent, articulate, slim, blond gardener/techno fanatic...help fill in some gaps

Her: Now I think i remember you! The techno thing, not many people get it. Do you have blond hair?

Me: More blond in summer, could be me but maybe not :?

now gone cold again. might try that line above or should i take a different approach?

I've done what you've done before. You're spending too much time focusing on the language and value of each text, and it's putting you in conversation zone. And you're still being evasive.

She's not invested in this and you've squandered the little opportunities you had to get her engaged. And, you're probably being too available.

Dude, send her no more than one text every two or three days (at LEAST), until you're out of this rough patch. Maybe even a week or two. Always leave her saying the last thing. ESPECIALLY when she poses a question or something that begs response.

Just wait, ask her when another party is because you want to bring some girls to one, and leave it at that. Once there, introduce yourself again, give yourself a false time constraint, go play with the other girls and/or make new friends. Then maybe you can pick up where you left off later.

ok, so i left it 4 days then sent her a text that didn't require a response.

me: perfect weather for gardening today! looks like a long lazy lunch break down by the river for me
    10:26

her: hope you enjoyed a sunny lunchtime
    20:49

so, she took ages to respond and clearly isn't that invested in the conversation. but she didn't have to respond so why did she even bother?

any suggestions on how to progress?
