Default How to act after mutual breakup

Hi guys. I just broke up with my 6 month girlfriend about 3 weeks ago. This was in college btw, and we ended it mutually, and with smiles. No tears from her, no anger or anything like that. That was before the 2 week break. After the break, it feels uncomfortable now. (as expected). We share one class together, and she just couldn't deal being in the same room as me, and so she left. I might add, that she was the one who suggested the whole "can we still be friends??" crap, which I agreed to but knew it would never happen. Also, I pass her quite often on campus, and I usually give a smile and sometimes a nod. But I get blatantly ignored. So I guess my real questions are, how should I act? Should I continue to act like nothing's wrong, and still be the cheerful, friendly guy? Should I start snobbing her off like she does to me? Should I talk to her at all? I appreciate any advice at all.

How do you want it to go? She obviously doesnt want to talk to you. I would stop giving her any of your energy. Walk with your chest high and your head up and dont speak to her unless she speaks to you.

If you want her attention. Plan a way to get seen by her talking with other girls. This will seal the deal as to determining whether or not she still cares about you. Yet, if its all mutual then who care about her anymore. Do unto others as those would do unto you, until they turn stone sour then fuckem.

Gogogadget is right. Also, she's probably acting the way she is because she still hasn't completely gotten over you. She's unsure of how she feels, but still chooses to ignore you because you guys already agreed to breakup.

She wanted to be friends, but she treats you like that? Then by all means ignore her man. If that's how she wants to play it, so be it. Lot's of other girls out there anyhow, so don't bother wasting anymore time on her.

The answer is= be her friend! If she looks sad, or worried, ask whats wrong. be there for her. when she "asks why do you care", you can say "because I care for you, and just want you to know that I have your back". If thats something you can do

(In oldman voice) This reminds of a romance I had with a co-worker! My agency moved to a new office that we shared with another agency(between both agency's there was only 4 guys including myself). Well, I noticed two ladies warming up to me, one was married, the other exotic(what was I to do).

Well after dating the exotic lady for a while, she moved in with me(although she owned her own house, with tenants=A boss). Needless to say this was one of the best years of my life so far. We did, shared, and learned so much together(we did things like make love, covered in a blanket, in the morning on my roof, while it was snowing) A book could be wrote about the love we shared. I would have married her, but I was seperated at the time.

Anyway, as every relationship has its issues; her's were I smoked to much wacky tobacy, and mines was she was a perfectionist; although I am as well, she bordered on OCD! (also she was fed up with my video games= the nerve)
    WE ENDED IT MUTUALLY.

We still work closely together to this day. I still flirt with her, HBTEN, although now everything is said in passing. Everyone wants her, and I get off on the times we shared, as well as concentrating on my future(my own house).

The morale of the story is to take the whole thing lightly, you never know what the future holds(me and her could get back together).

My advice to you=Talk to her, like a friend, she will come around, and love you for you patience

Any break up will have awkward moments no matter how amicable. You could eventually be friends but not soon after the break up. You need time to get over and get used to being single, especially her. So just take your cue from her. If she ignores you then just go on your way without saying hello. If she smiles and says hi, then do the same.
