I'm pretty new to texting game, so I'm still in the dark quite often. However, here I think I got tested. I got through it quite well, but still I'd like to know whether or not I was right about being tested. We're jumping in at the middle of the conversation.
Her: I've been studying for hours.
Me: Haha yeah, I was planning on doing the same thing, but I'm not a world class student like you.
Me: (her name) the studynerd :P. Now all you need are some glasses and you're all done.
Her: I'm already wearing those :|
(notice the content smiley face)
Me: Then wear those to school tomorrow. I'd love to see them.
Her: hahahaha nah, I was just kidding
Me: ahh ok. I think it would look really sexy on you, a secretary's glasses or something like that .
Her: Yeah, I think so too.
Then I closed the conversation, as I only checked in "so she wouldn't miss me too much by tomorrow" (which I gave as a reason to text her), saying "well I checked in, so I'll see you tomorrow.
So was the "I'm already wearing those :|" part a test to see how I'd react if she didn't like what I said? Did I handle it correctly?
And how do you think I handled texting here? I'm a complete noob on it so I'd like some feedback. We're at the "we both know we're attracted to each other, but haven't said so or been on a date yet" stage. She's in my class.
