I'm not really new to the game, but I'm new to this forum. Was bopped into the Friends Zone a couple of weeks back by this girl I was putting the moves on. After reviewing everything that went wrong (she helped me through it. It's what FRIENDS are for), I realized that I listened to the advice of needy friends with needy girlfriends, content with living out their needy lives in needless neediness. Oh, they're an okay group, but things like: "Talk about her exes. It will help FACILITATE INTIMACY." can be a bit questionable in retrospect. In effect, I would like to say, fark you, Mikko. You know who you are. Anyway, the reason for this was a 5-year dry spell in which I built up my self-confidence by flirting with random women but not really following through. The girl said that everything about me was awesome, except for the fact that I opened up her issues with her boyfriend, and after her particularly fresh and traumatic breakup, she needed someone she could depend on. Yeah.

Everything's cool with me and her now. Except for the fact that I'm in the Friends' Zone, we're okay, as I take rejection incredibly well. I came to the forums to polish up my game and find a way to retake my balls somehow. I miss them.

Instead of rehashing her past boyfriend or her mistakes (that is what her friends should be doing), you should be showing her an amazing time and how much fun you are. And of course showing her how fun sex can be with you.

Love that you can see that and you admit that you need to retake your balls.

I've been talking to random strangers on the street and around the campus (I'm a literature student), and even if I don't get to hook up, the fact that I get to just talk and get a pleasant smile every now and then is a pretty awesome feeling.
