Korny line "you took my breath away" worked

Hi guys. It was a mates 23rd birthday so we all went clubbing. Long story short;
I had just got my drink from the bar and was walking through the crowd to get back to my friends, when I locked eyes with this drop dead gorgous brunette in a tight, short blue dress. Imagine carmen electra + catherine zeta jones with those alluring 'take me now eyes' haha .

Well I was taken aback :O. As I was walking past I whisper in her ear, "you just took my breath away" (I sincerely meant it), and made sure she saw me sit down so she knew I was still around.

About 20-25min later I felt this tapping on my shoulder, as I turn around I see the same brunette smiling at me, "so I take your breath away?" giggling.

I can't remember exactly what I said after that, we were getting ready to leave so I asked her for her facebook and I would get in touch. I didn't Number Close, only FB closed, because in a club I've found FB closing is more successful because they can put a name to the face.

The one thing I remember though is that she said that a line like that wouldn't work on her. However she thought that I was 100% genuine.

So there you go. I was rendered speachless and said the first thing that popped into my head. Which happened to be the corniest thing I have ever said, but I genuinely meant it...and it seemed to work haha

I reckon the walk away definitely helped matters. Although the sincerity of your comment undoubtedly played a part. Imagine going up saying that, then saying 'so, where are you from?'

'Ehhh..... Jog on!!'

But well in though!!

Hahaha well I wasn't thinking 'game'. Just thought I would say it and not care if I got a result haha.

Australia day is comming up on wednesday, and I invited her to a beach party. So should be fun
