Day 3
Mission : Ask couples for the time with a watch on your wrist/cellphone in your hand.

So, Day 3 is done. Started the day with making a plan. Approaching 40 couples in one hour, because of lack of time due to work. It semi-worked, as you can see. And I think it's partly my fault, since I got picky to what couples I should approach, instead of picking any couple that came my way. Mainly because the time slot I operated in was great for couples walking on the street. First half hour : sh1tload of couples. Next half hour : struggling to find even one couple.
In spite of this, I ran on autopilot from the very beginning. I found myself scanning for couples like I was a F-16 Fighter Jet, found a target, locked the target in, aimed and fired.
Lucas said on the CD that almost all the time ( 90% of the time, if I remember correctly ) if you ask the girl, the guy will give you the time. My results were partly different. Out of the 21 couples approached, 5 times the girl gave me the time, more specifically sets 1, 4, 8, 10 and 16. That's like almost 25% of the time, so it kind of throws this theory out of whack.
Guy's reaction : a "goddammit, why didn't I think faster" kinda look.
Surprise, surprise ! Well, not really. I've got blown off 3 times ( sets 3, 12, 18 ). And believe it or not, all of them were lower than HB7. I have a strong feeling this is going to be an epiphany for me at the end of this 21-day challenge. It's getting very interesting and I can't wait to see the final results with the following theory :
"Attractive and highly attractive women ( HB8 and above ) are more likely to respond to you than less attractive and unattractive women ( HB7.5 and below )" Huh.......Will keep testing to see if this theory is relevant.
Back to the report. So the first half hour went smooth as fark. But the latter part of the exercise I found myself in trouble. Only because there were "very few" to "no couples" on the street anymore, so obviously very few approaches. But then again, it wouldn't have mattered too much, because I still felt like a Fighter Jet, so it was basically a number's game from then on. Felt totally comfortable the whole time. Objections disappeared completely, though there was one time I did want to approach, but I would've come up from behind, so big no-no.
So all in all, this was a good day for the soon-to-be "Demonic Confident" me.
Results :
- Complete Comfort in this type of situation
- Objections disappeared completely
PS : Since I felt/feel completely comfortable, I cannot truly assess ( either objectively or subjectively ) the increase of the amount of confidence. We'll see in the following days.
PPS : There's a slight more stuff to work on Day 3, because after you do the exercise, you have to list your previous objections and re-frame them into affirmations. The way the affirmations are constructed is slightly different than what I was used to. Instead of saying "You are ( insert positive belief ) " or "I am ( insert positive belief )", you construct them as "I am starting to change the belief that ( insert objection from the list you made after those exercises were completed ). Since my limiting beliefs/objections are external ( she's busy, she's way over there, bla bla ) instead of internal ( I'm too fat, I'm unattractive, bla bla ) and since today I had no objections whatsoever, I feel inclined to skip this part, but I'll do it anyway, since I want to stay true to myself.
