Constant sh1t Tests But I'm the Jerk

Hey Guys,

This is my first field report, here goes nothing.

So my friends wife has been trying to hook me up with her friend. Well today they were BBQing and his wife called me. She said her friend was asking about me and wanted me to come over. Ok, game on.

When i get there everything is going ok, i start kino, run some routines and things seem to be going ok. But she keeps throwing sh1t tests. So i thought the answer for a sh1t test is cocky funny and negs. This seems to be working ok....

Well end of the night she says I'm a jerk cuz I'm mean. WTF?!?! She threw nothing but sh1t tests towards the end!

What do you think is the best way to approach stuff like this? I knew she was into me but now i think i blew it. How should have i handled this?

I dont really know the attitude of the woman, but I got stuff like this today on my date. The girl would say things like "your such a weirdo", and "your mean". But I just disqualified these statements, sometimes by telling her "nope, your wierd" in a funny way. It seemed to help my date go wayy smoother and helped me feel more confident and stronger.

Now, this lady could actually have been meaning what she said. I pretty much responded with negs, but in a more playful and softer manner. I would have to be there to fully understand your situation but its either you were coming off too defensive somehow, or she just tested you again with that last comment? How did you reply to her saying you were a jerk, and was she truly upset when she said it?

Push-Pull. It can't be all negs, you gotta mix the carrot with the stick. Like genium said, I don't know what sh1t tests she pulled, but if she was serious about you being mean then I think you over did it. Remember, negs and cocky-funny aren't about being insulting, they're about teasing, like you would your little sister or whatever.

Use your friends wife to do some recon, find out more detail, possibly even set up a make-up date. Wifey talked you up to her friend, so her reputation is on the line. If wifey won't, then you *really* botched the negs. Even still, you should at least be able to get some feedback for the future.

About 30 minutes after my post she started texting me. Funny thing is, I didn't give her my number, or get hers. She asked her friend for mine.

We've been going back and forth in text game since then. Our first date is on her next day off. cocky funny and negs work.
