Facebook pickup

Here's a cool field report on my facebook pick up. Feel free to criticize all you want =] kudos to the guy on these forums that gave me the idea of txting a girl about robbing a bank ;D used it on facebook hehe.

so i was looking at a friends post on facebook, and saw this HB8 leave a comment about the post, so i looked threw here pics, and decided to add her even though facebook said she had a bf. 4 minutes later she accepts my add, and pm's me the typical question every girl asks when you add them threw facebook.

leslie: Hey thanx for dee add.. Do i kno u?
me: you got it ; ) nope you don't know me
leslie: Lol so u randomly added me?o.O x).. Ok well my names leslie as u can tell.. Umm y did u add me?..
me: ohhhh hi leslie! i didn't add you? =o i just sent a friend request, and you added me xD hah!
leslie: Hahaha well u knew wat i meant xP.. Okay let me try askin again.. Y did u send me a friend request?hahaha XD
me: hahaha xD thats a better question : D cause I'm robbing a bank tomorrow night, and you seem like a good partner. Will you be shooting, or driving?
leslie: Hahaha ok.. No way =0 hahaha u wouldnt or would u?.. Ill bee shooting xD jkjk lmao.. Ur jking right?..
me: I'm dead serious. look. this is my serious face >:| shooting it is. we will meet tomorrow at 3pm

me: so you don't know how to shoot is that why! i cant believe my partner is backing down on me, shame on you! =[

me: i see how it is partner... ill just have to drive and shoot at the same time >.< im gonna need your number though just in case i go to jail, ima have to call you and tell you how right you were for not coming along, and if i make it im gona have to call you and brag about it from the Bahamas on my beach chair drinking my pina colada ; )

I like the exchange very much. Playful and fun- exactly how you want to come across. I don't think a Facebook pickup is sketchy at all. To me Facebook and other electronic media (email, instant messaging, social networking sites) are really no different than text messaging. It is simply a way to communicate with someone you might be interested in in real life. Just like you would want to tease and flirt with a girl you approached in person, you should always be trying to do those things in an email (instant message, Facebook message etc.).

That said, I am not sure I'd be interested in someone who says
"ll c u on dee knews tho lol"

But nice work nonetheless.
