First number close, need critique

So I just got out of a somewhat serious relationship about a week ago, we were seeing each other for almost year. "fark it" I said, I think I'm going to learn the PUA game a bit more in depth. I reread the game by neil strauss and tried to mentally frame the general idea of what makes women attracted to men, my next target would be a an HB9 coworker of mine.

While I was still in my relationship, I was fascinated by the PUA game, so I made sure to playfully go about flirting without any canned lines with HB's from work and just about everywhere I went. I would just get IOI's and stop right after that just because I was in a relationship and have moral qualms about cheating.

After getting out of my second relationship, I silently contemplated what to do with my HB9 coworker. Every other guy there talked to her as much as they possibly could and showered her with compliments and dlv'd themselves.

Anyways, I improvised and went about lightly teasing her throughout my time with her. I remember one time she confided to me of how she was uncomfortable with the cooks constantly staring at her, "Don't get too full of yourself," I said "You're cute and all, but in a 'let me tie your shoes' kinda cute."

Today was my last day at work, I had to make sure I number closed this girl or I knew I would regret it, I didn't Number Close after three IOI's like a pro would do. I have this mentality in which I'm just getting farked with when girls flirt with me for some reason, it's something I have to overcome.

HB: *comes up to hug me* I'm going to miss you! (Good god, i've been getting IOI's from her, and now I'm getting another big one, is it really this casual?)
Me: Yup, today is my last day
HB: We shared a lot of great moments together (This sounds a bit too corny for her to say, but we both communicate very sarcastically and ironically, it was in a "just kidding, but not really" kind of tonality)
Me: Yeah, we should hang out sometime *big smile* (by now we are in each other's personal bubble)
HB: ... (there was silence, but it didn't feel awkward, it was as if she has been waiting for me to ask her for a while, but couldn't quite believe that I was so spontaneously number-closing her)
Me: Call me naive, but I believe that this is the part where you give me your number
HB: But you already have it remember? You called and asked for me to pick up for night shift
Me: Just write down your number
HB: Alright then *smiles*

What I was about to say : Do you go by the two day rule or the three day rule? (I held this one back, I'm still contemplating the use of this one in the future, I will surely experiment with it and write more reports on how it works in the future)

So this was my number close, I still can't wrap my head around what just happened. It's kind of surreal, and the confidence I've gained has been pretty monumental.
