BACKFIRED Best Friend Test

A couple days ago I was in the the middle of a set with a 6 and a 7 at an outdoor music festival. Things we're going pretty smooth as far as I could tell, they both seemed to be interested in the conversation. I threw in a couple of playful negs here and there and suggested that they take best friend test. To my surprise they were excited and eager to prove themselves. I didn't expect this and was not prepared to handle it at the time, but after two questions and no sort of physical or emotional response from either of the two towards one another I was left at a dead end. I regret to say that I told them they failed the test and the 7 said "what the f*ck kind of question is do we both use the same shampoo?" (which is pretty funny now haha, but not at the time). It was safe to say that this was a crash and burn. Anybody have any advice on how to handle a backfired best friend test?

i guess it depends on whether you did the test correctly! did they look at one another before answering? the trick is to make sure that, if they do look at one another, you cut them off and tell them they passed, and spin some story bout them having a psychic connection and praising them for knowing each other soooo well.....this way you can easily slip into some puma tricks with mentalism and even end it wit a trick for a Number Close!!

Thanks man! I do need to work on my presentation as I'm fairly new to the game. I was also thinking this could just have been a case of poor judgment to use the test. The thing is, they just answered bluntly without looking at each other at all so I couldn't really finish the test properly? They said they've been friends for years but maybe they just didn't have that connection. Maybe it's key to actually get a good indication that they have that bond before attempting the test? We will see next time!

If I get sh*t like that where a girls fu*king w/ me...I say, "Hey, I didn't invent the thing I read about it so ease up and lemme finish, SHEESH!" Of course in a playful voice.

Then I'll say sh*t like, "TAAAAAKE TWOOOOOOOO!" And start over.

But the homie above is right. You gotta cut 'em off when they look at one another. If one looks at the other while one if staring at you they're not that tight of friends, blah blah blah.
