My first Crash and Burrnnn

Yesterday I had my first crash and burn and jesus that stang like a bitch. The situation involved me walking through a park and I saw this HB6.5 ahead of me. Now it was pretty simple and I decided it would be a good idea to get an Opener. So as I walked down the path I realised there was a good 30 seconds before I'd actually reach her... enough time to develop a sense of anxiety over the approach. For the next few seconds I started thinking, crap, crap, I can't just look at her from here so I decided to look around (and I must have looked like a freak fidgeting with himself). As the seconds counted down and the distance between us fell away, I really began to panic inside, knowing I need to make this opener.

And then the time came. Straight away I looked at her and started saying "Hey, I'm in a real rush, but I need your opinion on something..." So far, a plain look on her face. Then "My best friends girlfriend tried to kiss me last night, and....". All of a sudden she picked up her pace whilst leaving me with a cold stare and never looked back.

All in all the opener was proven by many PUAs, however my delivery was totally unPUA style and my lack of confidence and value must have shown clearly. Anyway, that day I felt the sting and all I can say now, is i'm glad the first one is over... I look forward to many more

Yeah anxiety really tends to screw things up a lot. But dont worry because every failure is a chance to learn and improve on your game

Brada u in luck because your problem contains one of the theories i want to challenge ,'using openers' and i cant classify you as having aa cause you did open the set ,well you can read up on my Approach Anxiety THEORY (THE LIQUID COURAGE THEORY) because its there for that reason ,when u cant apply the 3second rule.You must look out for my thread in a month or so still wana do some research ,but i really want to challenge this Opener theory especially the opinion opener cause with so many brada's using seduction material she could have heard it somewhere ,even if u make them up chances are someone thought it up before. Yeah, these things happen. Especially when the girl is moving ... it`s hard to stop them.

Personally, outside when a girl is moving then I like to go direct immediately so she knows why I`m talking to her: that I`m a normal guy who thinks she`s attractive, rather than some freak asking weird questions.

im not so sure if the Opener is good for day game, other than that im sure your anxiety did take its toll on the pick up. get back on the horse, the more you get rejected the less anxiety youll have the next time

Some people say day game is the hardest and I see where they come from. But in a way, day game can be the easiest! It's when girls are less defensive. But i'm the type of guy that really wants to push his boundaries, so I try and approach the hardest targets.

It really is a aa killer, so give it a try.

Good for you on the approach. You should make it a point to REPEAT this experience once each day. That's right, get back out there and get rejected again. Keep walking up to girls and opening them, try different lines or just say hi, just do the approach.

After a while, you'll realize that rejection is no big deal and you won't fear it anymore. Heck, it can be pretty funny actually and you won't be as nervous when you approach.
