Cheesy openers and huge improvements!

Went out on Friday with my wing to beat down my aa which has been plaguing me/us, in an attempt to start 100 sets each in 30 days.

After a few drinks we stumbled across this bar neither of us had been to before. Was fairly quiet inside but lots of potential targets. My wing had this app on his phone which throws up random cringeworthy chat up lines, great for us to crash and burn and learn that rejection isn't something to be scared of.

I went first. The opener was "Could I have your phone number? I've lost mine" and he pointed out a HB 7 to say it to. Instead of the usual sh1tting myself, I walked straight over and opened with it. She giggled and said it was a terrible chat up line, I asked how bad out of 10 and she responded -1. chatted for a bit and then went back to my wing and burst out laughing. I can't believe it got a vaguely positive response! I picked out another cheesy opener and a HB8 to approach. He did it, and also got some giggling and some banter. What the fark? I mean these lines were terrible. I would never dream of using them on a girl I was actually trying to pick up.

After a few more of these my wing approached another HB8 with an equally awful line, started chatting, dancing, and K and # closed! I approached a HB8, K and # closed with a date lined up for the next day. We were on fire. I couldn't tell you why, but we could do no wrong.

Hit a club which turned out to be dead. a few more cheesy lines and got dancing and grinding with some girls and my wing K closed with one of them. My mind was about to explode. How could this possibly be working??

Headed to another club after meeting some friends on the way. Wing approached a HB9 with another cheesy line and got chatting. We went to sit down and discuss the approach, then I left to get a drink. Came pack to find the HB 9 had come and sat down with my wing, whose friends promptly followed. fark yeah. Chatting and dancing with them for a while. Amazing.

Very brief overview of an absolutely awesome night. Just goes to show having the confidence to approach, however sh1t the opener, can work.

Ha ha I farking love this. Yeah that night was ridiculously awesome. We may use this tactic the first few times to build social momentum then we can rock this sh1t x

I can tell you why; It's all about your Mindset, body language, and energy. Presumably when you approached with these lines you knew how cheesy they were, so your body language/energy was projecting a fun, lighthearted vibe, rather than it being obvious what you were trying to do. Going in with no expectations opens you up way more and she'll be far more receptive. One tip - don't think that there are different rules for girls you're "actually trying to pick up". I know it's tempting to think you need the best opener, negs etc. for these girls, but if you just carry the fun energy into the set, your opener can be just about anything.
