[FAIL] First time in field - McDonalds

Hello guys,
Its the first time i actually went on field to meet up with strangers. Here is what happened.

After reading a lot of books about body language. I just used it a lot in daily life (like shoulders back, head straight, slow walking, slow talking and all that). I am not totally good at it yet but it kinda helped.

I went for thanksgiving break with one of the guys in my dorm. Almost last day we went to mcdonalds and there were three girls. I started making eye contact and smiling. Worked perfectly. I could see girls coming and walking to the vending machine like they ran out of drink every other minute. The people i was with didnt see me doing that cz they dont even know what pua is. only thing they know is i suck at girls. one of the guys said hes gonna see me getting their numbers (it was a bad idea in the first place to tell them that).

So, I said im gonna go to bathroom. and came out.

HB[1]: Hi! (she started)
*i turned my head towards them and while standing on the my direction*
Nerd: Hey guys how you doin? I have a question to you. I have a friend who has a girlfriend and he needs some advice...
HB[2]: Is that the guy whos standing right there?
Nerd: No. hes the one whos in the c
ar waiting. Ok Let me rephrase my question (i locked in to the group by leaning back to a table).
Nerd: If a girl goes to a bar and makes out with a guy, is that cheating?
HBs (all 3): YES!
Nerd: If a girl goes to a bar and makes out with another girl, is that cheating?
HB[1]: Yes
HB[2]: No
HB[3]: No
Nerd: Why not?
HB[2]: Is she bi?
Nerd: No. She would just get drunk and do it. But she does it a lot and my friend started thinking shes cheating.
HB[1]: What do you think?
Nerd: I dont know. I asked you cz I need a woman advice.
HB[2]: Well. Me and *pointing to HB[3]* her doing it all the time when we are drunk.
HB[1]: I dont know. blah blah
Nerd: Alright. I gotta go cz my friends are waiting on the car, you know? But i got one more thing to tell you. Have you heard of mind tricks, its called ESP?
HBs: What is it?
Nerd: Ok. Let me start. what is 4+3?
HB[1]: 7
Nerd: Ok. Start saying 7 until I say stop.
HB[1]: *start saying it*
Nerd: (after 8 seconds). Now think of a vegetable that comes to you mind first?
HB["2"] (happily): CARROT!!!
Nerd: (pointing at her) RIGHT
HB[2]: I have heard that before.
Nerd: From where? (i got scared that she has read PUA Forums for a second)
HB[2]: Stumbeupon
Nerd: Nice i used to stumbleupon too.
HB[1]: How did you know it?
Nerd: Its all about brain activity. Its long. (i feel like thats where I farked it up)
HB[1]: No. Explain.
Nerd: *started explaining how you see the color you see is usually orange*
HB[1]: But i was thinking of green color.
Nerd: Thats why you said broccoli. Its like 70% say orange.
Nerd: So, where do you guys study. Which college?
HBs: We are in high school. (thats where I lost interest. even though they are a year younger than me :P)
HB[1]: *pointing to HB2* she dropped out.
Nerd: What? Why?
HB[1]: blah blah blah.
HB[2]: youre making me feel embarrassed in front of him.
Nerd: Alright. blahh blah. Alright I gotta go. Im probably gonna see you sometime.

(it started getting awkward when she asked me to explain it. I dont know why but I feel like its because my body language was wrong. It was first time in day time i was doing my FIRST approach after getting interested in pua).

I dont know i didnt feel comfortable anymore. Cz I felt like its not going anywhere anymore. I honestly didnt have a target in my mind. So, I didnt know who to neg. (I should negged HB[3] cz she asked me questions sometimes interrupting the converation. I felt like she actually liked me. Cz she was the one touching her hair and stuff).

Even if I didnt get their number. I at least got the attraction part going. But i would still consider it as a FAIL to make myself work more towards it.

But I wanna know. What did I do wrong?

P.S as I was leaving this douche guy I know (who was with us), started laughing really really hard so that the whole mcdonalds could hear him. (now I realized that I need friends who are Alphas, PUAs, not freaking AMOGS.) So, I will take it as a in this area success too cz I found out how big of an AMOG he is. Changing Friends... Now changing my whole new style - more peacocking, more new clothes

Nerd, you obviously have a lot of work to do. Frankly, though I thought you did a fantastic job for a newbie. I would suggest that you steer the conversation toward seduction.

For Example: HB[2]: Well. Me and *pointing to HB[3]* her doing it all the time when we are drunk.

Guess what, THEY introduced sexuality into the conversation, with more practice and experience you should have filed this away and say instead of moving into the carrot thread, moved into a deeper sexual conversation using this for a lead in.

Keep practicing, you will progress. Good job.
