First night of sarging. Outstanding results!

Hey guys,

I have been reading these boards for a while and practicing a lot of this material with girls I have already met and am talking to, but have never really gone out with the intention of meeting women and trying any sort of openers or closes so I figured last night would be a perfect time to start. Let me just say, it ended up being one of the best nights I've had in a long time. The great part is, I still see lots of areas where I can improve. Here's how it went:

Hit up an Unwritten Law concert with a buddy of mine. This was a good choice because it was at a bar and there were LOTS of girls.
Notice an HB6 and HB8 hanging out at the end of a table by themselves and figured this would be a great place to start. I send my buddy outside and a few minutes later approach them solo.

Me: (touching her shoulder) I need you to do me a HUGE favor!
HB8: Okay
Me: I need you to guard this beer with your LIFE!
HB8: (puts her hand on my glass) You got it

I leave and go outside with my buddy for 10 mins or so and start up random convo with some other dude. I come back in with all three and make sure that they see me smiling, laughing and fiving with both guys
Me: Did you guard it?
HB8: Yup! I kept it safe!
Me: Whoa! how much of this did you drink? I'm pretty sure it was full when I left?
HB8: None
Me: (to HB6) Did she roofie this? I'm pretty sure this tastes like roofie. You ladies owe me a drink
HB8: I put a bunch of roofies and ecstasy in it!
Me: Well I'm not going to trust you until I know your name
HB8: I'm Jenny

We hung out for a bit and eventually bailed because my buddy is getting kind of awkward and not helping the convo. He's still kind of shy, but pretty good opener no?

Met another set on the dance floor and opened with them by wiping my cold beer glass on the back of one of their arms. Def. got her attention, and got a little talk out of them, but I just thought it seemed like a fun thing to try haha.

End of the night, band is done and floor is clearing out I see a girl chilling by herself in a similar style shirt. I am faking a conversation with my friend to her right.

I glance over and say "we must shop at the exact same store" "We have extremely good taste"
HB8: Yeah! haha we're awesome.

I said some other sh1t and kept her laughing for a while, but things get crazy when her friend comes out of the bathroom and walks straight up to me and says

"I swear to god if I wasn't with a date right now I would totally take you home and frick you right now"
Me: (I'm pretty dumbstruck, I'm new and was not expecting to hear this from anyone) Whoa! Let's start with names
HB7: I'm christy put your name and number in my phone, I definitely want to talk to you after this date. (Hands me the phone)
Me: Lame date huh? bummer. (enter my number in her phone)
HB7: yeah, he's not my type, but you are just super attractive blah blah blah

We talk for a little, her date shows up and I do my best to involve him in the convo and make him feel comfortable, because honestly this has never happened to me before and I was trying to avoid awkwardness and keep my value with this girl. This worked out extremely well because she said she wanted to meet the lead singer of the band. I jokingly said I knew him, but he happened to be walking around the dance floor as I said this. My buddy goes over to him and shakes his hand and I do as well. He's says something about buying a beer, and I jokingly say to him as he's leaving "get one for me and my friends too!" and he looks back and laughs at me. Girl now totally thinks I know this dude!

She actually called me this morning and thanked me for introducing her to the lead singer, said she had such an awesome time and wants me to "hang out" with her on Mon. Should be pretty easy f-close if i want to. haha

What do you guys think? Not bad for my first shot? Beginners luck maybe? Any tips, or ideas to help me get better is greatly appreciated!

For sure the confidence factor. I really like the roofie my drink line, I'm so going to use that.

The irony here is that your first approach was great but didn't lead to a Number Close while your actual number close didn't require any game at all. The first one was awesome where you had the girl hold the beer, got her to do it while you built social proof by having other stuff to do/other people to talk to. Sounded like you had a real confident vibe going by joking and teasing.

Then you randomly get a number because the girl thought you were cute. Now I'm not gonna say this was a total fluke because you might have:
a. been dressed nice
b. looked cool by chatting up her friend instead of standing by yourself
c. or maybe she had eyed you earlier talking to other girls, and that made her want to come up to you.

who knows really. The point is guys who go out and try get results, guys who stay home don't. Good work doing the former.
