Two years after discovering PUA books, I finally went out to sarge for the first time today. I've read multiple books, loads of advice, and a lot on these forums in the meanwhile.

It took me so long because I used to be dead terrified of girls. They used to bring me down, always seemed far away from me and I didn't seem to have anything to do with them. It was a miracle if I made it to the friend zone - at least weren't disgusted by me. All this ended four years ago but it still lingers around in my mind from time to time.

I had my 'deadline' for starting to open women on the street set on the 8th of January. That's the first day after the winter break.

Anyways, I went out there today after school and took the subway to Beurs in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. When I got out and the first couple of minutes after that, I didn't really expect myself to approach a women in a pick up manner.

However, as time progressed I felt like I might be able to do it. My confidence grew as I kept on walking back and forth throughout quite a big outdoor shopping mall.

I had set my goal to opening at least one attractive girl that I would normally fantasize about with "Hey, I saw you walking and I just wanted to say you look really cute". Then she'd reply and I'd say "Well that's what I wanted to say". Then walk away.

Like I said time progressed and confidence grew. I felt like if it didn't happen today, I'd be disappointed but it will happen soon. I didn't see that many girls walking by themselves. I must have walked around there for like two hours and 'only' saw ten girls that could be in my fantasy that I could have approached. But then again, ten girls are quite a lot if all you have to do is approach one.

I didn't approach any girl. I started to feel like I love my Comfort zone too much. That's the main reason I just didn't approach. After reading and seeing a lot of people approaching online I don't think I have 'true' aa anymore. But the comfort zone got in the way. Furthermore, throughout my life I've been afraid of success, which might also play a part.

So at the end of the day I didn't approach any girl but I feel a lot more confident in my efforts to do so. It will happen soon.

Have you thought about starting with approaches where your not trying to get a number or with a result in mind. Think of ways your can do it where you see approaches won't matter in the end and will build your inner game.

Here's what I have planned for myself.

1. Start by going out with a sign saying free hugs. To show yourself that if you have a good open body language it is easy to communicate and make people comfortable.

2. Go out and ask people for directions. Then expand on it by asking attractive girls, then couples.

3. Go to a Strip Club and sit there for a hour without looking or talking to any women. Teach yourself your the prize and to get comfortable around lots of women. But your not creepy by telegraphing your interest non-verbally. I think Red Baron will say that is my big sticking point at the moment. Make them chase you.

4. Then go out giving a compliment. Eventually, go out trying to hold conversations for a minute, then build up.

5. Go out and observe body language of men and women. Understand the cues of them being comfortable and uncomfortable.

I actually went out there without any kind of result in mind, except for myself genuinely complimenting a girl and thus breaking through a barrier of course.

As for your plans, they sound pretty good. However, I already conquered most of those fears. If I need directions, I have no problem opening anyone. It's just opening with a certain goal in mind - like practicing for PUA or truly opening a girl or set. I also have no problem hanging around beautiful women. Again, it's the 'I want something more from you than just talking or being friends' part that I just can't break through. I even compliment them genuinely plenty of times when I'm comfortable around them.

I feel very comfortable touching beautiful women. Doing so actually makes me very much at ease. Even when I'm sitting against a woman because there is too little space in the bus, or when I stroke her back as I walk up to her. It just makes me feel good and confident somehow.

For the body language part, I am currently reading a book and will be posting a thread on the stuff I've learned when I'm done.

So the problem is not talking, not kino, and not confidence when I talk to HB's I know or when I don't have a goal. It's opening with a PUA goal. Let's say I want to ask for directions because I need them. No problem. But when I ask for directions to practice talking to women (goal), I just can't make the approach.

Anyways, as you've read, I got more confident with time as I was out there so I should just get out there again and spend more time sarging until I open a girl. And I've been gathering more information on breaking through aa so I'll be fine soon enough.

First of all, I'd like to congratulate everyone on the new year. It's 2012 for four and a half hours now in the Netherlands and I'm already in bed but I wanted to share tonight's story to prevent a similar ending in the future.

So here's the deal. I decided not to game in my home town, and celebrated new year's eve here. Therefore I didn't, even though I still haven't broken through my aa and drinking plus a new year would make for great excuses to talk to girls. (I actually did open a 3-set and gave them all 3 kisses on the cheek as customary here but left immediately after).

I did spend the night practicing other things such as body language and building up social proof. So two mates and me are sitting at the bar and this HB7 MILF (37) comes up to me and opens me by asking me for the restroom. She spoke English so she was a foreinger (Germany) and I quickly realized this was a great opportunity. After all, I read girls look for out-of-town flings because there's no one to judge them.

So we talked and danced (kino) quite some. I think my kino was quite good because I danced with her, held her and talked into her ear. She was into me and I befriended her friends. They even started helping me.

However, she had mentioned I was too young when I told her my age after making her guess. She guessed 30 but I'm 22. So at a certain point I wanted to K-close her since I had all her friends behind me and definitely her attraction and I think Comfort as well. I wanted to take her outside so she wouldn't think that her friends might be watching. She didn't have her coat with her so she wanted to stay in. I told her I took her there for a good new year's kiss. She refused because of the age thing and started making excuses when I persisted like "I ate peanuts" and "I drank beer". She led me back to the dance floor and refused again after I said "Come on. This might be your last chance to kiss a 22-year-old." I know, it's not very alpha but I wasn't prepared to game and was quite surprised by the situation.

Looking back at the last couple of hours, I'm very satisfied. Because even though there was alcohol involved, I got opened by an HB7 MILF and I hot approached a 3-set even though AA is still preventing me from playing the game.

Anyways, this all raised one question: If the age is a problem like in this case, how would I have played my cards and make it to a K-close?

I'm currently out in the field again and nerves are killing me. I'm real sweaty, too. Thank god it's good weather for a coat. Went here yesterday as well, but no results. Didnt really expect so either. But today I went in with a lot of nervous feelings because I actually felt like this could be the day. Had some eye contact, even with HB 9's, but I'm still pissing myself. LOL. Let's hope I get it done today.

Added later: Nothing happened today. Decided to go home.

I'm sick of being afraid and not approaching. Tomorrow is do-or-die day.

Two years ago I read my first PUA book but didn't do much with it as it was very strange and a LOT of PUA concepts that I know now were missing. A year later I read "The Game" and from there on in I saw something I could have never dreamed of: I could become good with women.

I read more PUA material and soon after I registered on this site. That was almoast a year ago and this is my 200th post. I still haven't approached despite hours and hours in the field over the last months because I'm still afraid of women. I think it's getting ridiculous and have decided that tomorrow, no matter what, I will approach a woman during the daytime using a direct opener. I have wasted a lot of time reading too much theory, being afraid, feeling lonely and sorry for myself. Fark it. It's time to act. From now on I will live the life that I convey.

For anyone in a similar situation: do the same thing. Tomorrow we say 'fark it all' and do it.

I'm hoping for some good pep talk from you guys to help me out there tomorrow.

My friend. The aa is a bunch of horse sh1t and you must start believing that. It is just a result of your past conditioning. I have recently got into the P.I.A community and I read more than I should but I have made goals to approach ALOT of girls. make a goal, go to the mall and say ''alright im gonna approach 20 women'' something that you percieve as ridiculous. And after each approach REGARDLESS of what her reaction is, Feel satisfied because the approach was your goal.

The whole reason you in this game is for happyness and satisfaction right? (atleast thats why im here). so do the approaches and feel happy about it afterwards. Develop grit and determination.

And the only way to develop such character traits is by beating on your cracks, by taking the punches and KEEP MOVING FORWARD.

Last night I approached like 7 girls and got shut down all 7 in a row but I got the eighths number My game is not the best yet but Im looking to develop my CONFIDENCE, It doesnt matter how much you know, if you dont develop your confidence you will never succeed.

The reality is just that harsh.

I just hope with all my heart that I will be able to summon that courage again, and as I do it more and more it will get easier.
I want it so badly that this need turns itself into determination! and I will act, because I DESERVE this, I can have this, and so can you.

My friend, I suggest making a broader goal for yourself, say 1000 approaches for the year? Because then you can see the indavidual approaches in context.

Also, invest in yourself, go to gym, take care of your skin, buy nice clothes, smell good etc. this will improve your production capacity.

Okay, I'm out in the field again. I've set my phone's timer to 10 minutes. That is the time in which I will approach a woman with a direct opener.

Field conditions: Big shopping mall. It's freezing out here (I can barely feel my fingers and type on my phone) but I see quite a lot of beautiful women today.

FARK YEAH!!!! 4:30 on the clock, and I made the approach on a brunette HB8 with a really nice ass . Aged around 20-24. She looked a bit scared when I walked up to her and said "Hi, don't become scared" (freely translated, sounds different in Dutch), but then she smiled, said "thank you" and walked on after I completed my sentence with "but I think you look really cute".

I finally did it! Time to reset the clock and go for number 2
