I'm seeing what Mystery had stated: "The Universe Provides"

Everything is falling into place...I'm a new aspiring PUA who has read "The Game" years ago, as well as researching Ross Jeffries in the past, and have renewed interest recently. I also recently finished Mystery's latest book+read another about the psychology of seduction. NOW...a woman I've been interested in (she has a boyfriend...I'm not caring about that now of course) is going to a gathering to watch the UFC fight at a venue with co-workers & I. Here's what I'm thinking, even if I don't get the ioi's from her, I can use her (along with the co-workers as social value since I make them all laugh consistently) to roll off onto a new set. Any advice? This is going to be the first dedicated mission to get my dossier started.

So your goin out with some co-workers? Awesome! haha. If the girl you dig is a co-worker, I'd definitely use the opportunity just to have fun, maybe spark up a few convo's with other groups around- and if that girl with the bf has any interest at least she might get a little jealous; by showin ur cool and social, all that buzz.

I guess I'm not sure what your thinkin or wat the history of this is, but I'd say just play it cool, don't make any 'sudden moves', and see what happens. If she brings up anything don't compare yourself to the "bf" just dhv and screen her a bit. If flirting ensues take it in stride, if ur not too busy entertainin the ladies around ya. Sooo.. are you trying to get this girl from her boyfriend? I don't get the long play by play moves- sounds like u were just at a bar ordering drinks and watchin a game lol, no offense.
I don't know if this girl has flirted with you or what man, but I hope ur sargin some girls around the place, if anything that'll get ya some rapport and attention from the group, and probably some phone #'s

I agree, the play by play is confusing. In a nutshell, I was taking baby steps. I need to commit on not being one to buy drinks. The last one I did was intended to be dhv by showing I'm a provider for the tribe when her bf couldn't get himself a drink. I'm not trying to get the girl from her boyfriend. She has been the catalyst for me to take up learning the PUA skills; I've been tired with being a "Johnny no-move" and figured I'd use her to practice on, while increasing my DHV's with the Hired Guns at the bar I was at, as well as the women that go there. I figured if it failed on her, no worry, I'm slowly building an image at the local hotspot.

I need to focus on closing though. I think I was so happy that the DHV's and negs were getting me more looks from passers by, and it increased keno from hired guns and her, my focus on the game just wandered off into nothingness. The first night was good in getting my confidence up that this will work, but I need to be more focused, open more than two sets, and find a wing or tutor to help me get better at a faster rate.

I'll never take offense to remarks and/or criticism from the forum. God knows I'm not getting it during while in the field. Thanks again for the input.

Remember that all these dhv spikes you mention are mostly done by of money. Buying drinks, no matter who it is doesn't show DHV. Anyone can buy Anyone drinks.


Next time you're out, try to leave money aside. No matter what way you put it.. you're that boyfriend's b*** if you're giving him drinks lol


Money should have NO play in this. If it does, it should be fair. Someone buys you a drink first, and then you can buy them a drink after. It's fair.



It great to see that you have a lot of Comfort, and that you're getting out there practicing! Keep it up brother!

I'm starting to think it was a "D" performance. Can't beat myself up over it though. I guess this is what it's all about; recognizing that the stuff I thought was effective may be garbage. Don't dwell on it, learn from the experience and the input from others on the forum.

It's not (initially) easy brother. Just keep practicing. I used to fail HARD at a lot of this. With practice, I've gotten much better. I still fail now and then.. but it's life, and It's all the journey to becoming an Master Pick Up Artist


I wouldn't call it a D performance. Although you didn't really pick up anyone, you gave off a lot of positive energy, were enthusiastic, and comfortable.

Those are some of the main fundamentals needed to excel in PUA, that many men have trouble with. So kudos to you good sir.

I do agree that wings do help a LOT. What you can always do though, if you're out solo.. is take a look afterward, be honest with yourself. Point out the GOOD things that you did that night, congratulate yourself for those achievements.

After you recognize the GOOD, concentrate on what you really need to work on.


Why I said "initially" in brackets earlier, is because... Once you can pull off a successful set. Then it'll only get easier and easier :P

one of the good thing i have heard is this.

Its not just about learning new things to do better but also cutting out the simple mistakes that we make all of the time which do our game hurt!
