Default My introduction into the community....

Hi Bill,

I attended Adam Lyon’s boot camp last weekend in Austin TX. He and his staff were real pros and sincere. I saw him and Luke in action, and WOW!!! They were doing it by just being themselves. Plus they were real cool people that want to see their students do well. Reading through your FB page and forum, you give me a good vibe too. You’re real, not a gimmick!

It was basically my introduction into the community. Before that I had read through some forums, but it’s hard to internalize without doing and seeing---and let’s face it there a lot of arm chair quarterbacks on-line. I feel the boot camp gave me a good foundation, now it’s up to me. I’ve been using elements of his dating science formula with co-workers and customers, and I see that it works. I just need practice so I can make it work for me.

Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that you have good stuff!!!! Like I said, real, no gimmicks! You look like a cool guy. It lets me know that as a newbie, I don’t have to dress and act like a tool to have game. Only a good Opener and the ability to make conversation! So far, the compliment opener works for me.

Thanks,
TimJ

Hi Tim,

Thanks for the feedback (it was good chatting with you earlier and I look forward to our phone coaching session - I will contact you directly with the details).

For those that are curious, Tim took the PUA Training bootcamp with Adam Lyons (mosts of you know that my good friend Richard La Ruina aka Gambler runs PUA Training out of the UK and occasionally has a US boot camp schedule).

I think there are still a few open spots left: PUA Training - US Bootcamp Schedule

See you on the other side.

Bill

One more thing Tim, being completely new to the PUA community do you feel that the boot camp was worth the investment to kick start your PUA lifestyle? Feel free to let me know as I am curious if it is great to just dive right into a boot camp, or absorb some material AND then go into the boot camp.

BP

It was worth the investment! I was behind most at the boot camp in overall skill and terminology. I wasn’t real sure what a lot of the acronyms were, but caught on.

Other then that, it made more sense to me to do a boot camp first. I went to a friends wedding last night. Ended up going out afterwards with four people---three girls and one guy. One girl was a chef and another a fashion designer. I had a great time! Traded contact info with everyone, they want to hang out again soon.

Before the boot camp, this would not have happened. Reading some material would not have put me in this situation. I have a long way to go; HOWEVER, I was able to see what was going on with our interactions.

I couldn't react fast enough, but that comes with time and practice. With the knowledge from the boot camp I was at least able to see what was happening.

I learn by doing.

The instructors kept pushing and I had to deal with the emotions---books do not do that.

I would recommend doing a boot camp first!
