Yeah, I'm one of the guys who answered getting laid. In truth I have no problem approaching or talking to women. I've been following a lot of David X's advice as of late "Who cares what they think" basically to build up my confidence. What do I have to lose, right? I can smile, approach, make a witty remark, chat for a bit, but when it comes time to escalate...I freeze up. I guess it is like what a lot of other guys claim that they don't want to ruin the rapport, and I think that's where my troubles are centered. I am the world's biggest perfectionist even with pickup so I think I am freezing to avoid the potential of failure. This sticking point is painful as all men know so I would appreciate the help.

So yeah i chose getting laid - i mean I constantly need intimate relations with girls - and although i pull (kiss) often - that aint enough! i would like more advice on taking it to the next level!

I've ticked 'all of the above'. I'm 22 years old. I have severe AA which is the reason I still haven't approached despite reading PUA for like a year now. Just look at my number of posts. I've been on like 1 or 2 dates in my entire life. I can't really tell if girls that I regularly see (classmates, friends of my sister, etc) find me attractive. I've kissed 3 girls in the last 10 years.

I feel like I have no problem talking to women or attracting them at first, but I find keeping them attracted to me and all the rest difficult.

My main sticking point is fear. Fear of approaching and, with girls that I already know, a lot of fear doing anything that might obviously signal my interest in them (from kino higher up the ladder than touching an arm to asking them out).

Despite it all I have a very positive attitude towards women, PUA and my future regarding both.

I would have thought you were a master reading the insight you provide.

I am thinking of holding a VIP group where I film a video of me answering your most pressing questions.

As of now, I am thinking 1 video a week and charging a select group of guys $7 a month (that is like 2 cups of coffee for 4-5 videos a month).

I may email everyone and see who is interested - so keep a look out for that.

BTW - We could make the first video how to get over your AA and the second video how to talk to women to get and keep their attraction.

I have a personal student I am coaching and he sounded just like you... and now he is dating 3 girls at a time..

Hey Virgil, I myself used to have a massive approach anxiety issue, and in general suffered from other anxieties with women and even in other areas of my life as well. I tried a lot of "think positive" advice, and it didn't really help me.

In a nutshell, rather than trying to tell yourself why everything is going to be okay, you actually try to break yourself down, which I know sounds like the absolute opposite of getting over the anxiety, but similar to weightlifting, what happens is you become stronger and your emotions adapt and get stronger.

Telling yourself positive thoughts is a bit like lifting weights with feathers to get stronger, it just doesn't work.

Approach anxiety is my main problem as well. I have plenty of oppurtunities of women to approach in college but I never even get close to doing anything. It's ridiculous but it just feels weird to approach women randomly to try and pick them up. Not to mention I feel like I'll just mess something else up later with all this advice I read on how to get things all the way to the bedroom.

I voted getting and staying in a relationship. I can talk to women easily and I have a lot of them in my life. I seem to be pretty decent with them, but when it comes down to it I don't know what my problem is I can't get and hold a girl for very long. I can't really tell if they're into me and just don't know how to take it further. In the past I have either fallen in the friend zone or they lost attraction, so i just don't know what the steps are.
