New thing- opener of the week!

Hey guys, Happy New Years!

So for the past 6 months or so I've kinda been working with a different Opener every week or so- a joke, an observation, opinion, whatever; just something to have in my pocket when I can't think on my feet

I've been running very simple openers, usually several times to see the different outcome, cause once you got that down then leading into natural conversation and all the other things comes fairly easy!

So I figured if people start a thread of them here, how you used it, how many times you used it, where it got ya.. we can have some good material to Bounce off eachother, and post results. basically to analyze

Last weekend- Zach Galifanikas joke (not my best but it worked) .. it's all in the delivery, it really is:
"Hey don't you think that abbreviation is a long word for what it means?" I experimented with the delivery and opened 3 or 4 sets on Friday.

Anyways, I first opened a 2 set with it, of a 7 and 8. Got the 7's number, which was sorta by default, because I spent too much time dismantling her and didn't open them both up enough to get to the 8 (also coulda utilized the social proof I had w/me more); but a fine constellation prize- time ran out quick too.

I also opened a 10 with it and then entertained her mixed group- woulda got the number I think but when I started buzzing around next thing I knew the 10 was getting into a little scuffle and I just watched as everyone eventually scurried around after that in the bar, plus I kinda lost track of her group from that point (I had my own friends there).

So I'm hopin some pua's can thread on this so we can collab on a new opener for the week here; give some input, and write feedback after using some of them.

Ha right on, feel free to try it- it opens up the door to talks about Vegas, Hollywood, stuff like that. If you got any new ones too throw it out! thanks

Lol had to read that one a few times before I got it. Suggestions on delivery? Or where is this line from so I can mimic how its delivered?

Hey I gotchya man, sorry that post was a little jumbled, I'm just trying to add new openers all on the same thread.

It's a joke from Zach G. just said on Conan O'brien awhile back, when he's playing the piano, and just says random jokes/observations, etc. It's a little old but sh1t he's jokes are something else.

I just used it like he did, spur of the moment feel. It's good for a crowded area, or loud place like your just walkin by and say it- no special delivery, just enunciate and fly.

It's an easy way to open communication- the old school way with a joke. You gotta be in a talkative state though, cause a short joke like that will leave you stranded and awkward if you can't keep going on haha.
