It's actually a pretty good read too.

Neil Strauss is one hell of a writer.

For anyone interested, his followup book "Rules of the Game" just came out in paperback. The paperback version includes the two books from the hardcover version, plus a new third book which is a routines manual.

For anyone who's intimidated to start down the PUA path, the day by day guide "Mastering the Game in 30 Days" is outstanding. It has exercises, assignments and walkthroughs to get your mind to start working correctly. I'll let you all know how the routines manual works out when I get it.

this was the book that made me aware that other blokes are out there much like i am. strauss has done a true journalistic job in bringing a community together and like a REAL journalist he has ethics. Too much stuff about PU before was not dedicated enough and lacked ethics or integrity.

his glossary at the back is great as it details a few other players. through this i knew of juggler.

mystery method is also a good book.
ross jeffreys glossary is good but his site hosts a community of viruses and other tossers.

He is a good writer, check out dirt and emergency. Also, rules of the game is a pretty good beginning to gaming.

This title is often mentioned by new comers to the scene. I am going to meet up with a newish bloke in my city and he mentioned this book. I am going to get another copy of it and go through it again and maybe see if he and i can go through it in part together.

I feel it is a good text to work from

a guy i chat with in my city said to me that he has heard of mystery method but needs to go out and apply the techniques. i enjoyed the insight. neil strauss refers a lot to mystery so naturally when i saw mm on the stand of polyester i snaffled it. i can not stress enough how such material is best used when one is applying it or living their life along such lines. it is then easy to build something in that the books may offer, or simply just try something on a whim that mm or any other field guide may introduce.

i feel the point is to always make the material your own and not recite it verbatim or run lines over chicks. i got something online today for chicks on dating dating sites. it was how to avoid the 'player' or PUA. some things they got right about us but most was very stereotypical suggesting that PUA's are out to use and abuse women for one nighters. these dating sites come at the game from a very limited perspective of the wider picture.

i feel it is good for us to see how others do their courting game, as we are not wrong for doing ours. we have a right to express ourselves sexually. gays do. why are we the new taboo sexual expression. neil strauss has done a great thing in allowing us to find each other and give the heads up. we dont need to be relegated to the position of untrustworthy or dishonest when we are simply better men than many others

such books and guides also allow us to keep working on ourselves and trying new things as most chumps never improve themselves... they just married their mother

the bloke i chat with also mentioned that he is reading existentialist writer friedereiche neitzche and this filled me with a nice feeling as someone else is also thinking about the bigger picture than the courtship game and developing themselves as a person

Hell yeah I have read it. I also have it on my iPod and listen to it from time to time.

I had a friend give it to me a few years back and tell me it would change my life... He was right

just got this book today. Ive used David d's material in the past to good success but could do so much better if I went all out. Im using this book to get my mind straight again after losing a great girl.

tony clink's lay guide is ok

men are from mars, women are from venus is worth reading as background. not pua oriented yet it it explains the difs bw men and women in very applicable ways

did have a look at undercover sex signals but was by some chick who is probably a professional cock block for her unsuspecting hotter female friends. she sets herself up as an authority basically cos she is female and about all she would do would be to bust mens balls. don't recommend

I picked it up last week and already noticing a huge difference in my game, and I'm only half way through. Gonna pick up Rules of the Game soon

i gotta get a copy of it again. rules of the game looks good
