Default the 50th Law by Robert Greene

I'm halfway through the book and it's been very empowering, insightful, and motivating. I've been thinking outside the box since.

the 50th Law is a follow up to the book "48 Laws of Power" written by Robert Greene.

The 50th Law is a simple Law: "Fear Nothing"

Greene collaberated with rapper/businessman 50 Cent (hence the name of the title), who contributes his insight, emotion, and deterimation through each page of the book. Though Amazon claims 50 wrote it, its written from the perspective of Greene, as if he's telling 50's story from a street hustler in Southside Queens to rap superstar, to business enterpreneur.

It's not exactly a 'rise from the ghetto' story, and that's the intersting part of it. Greene tells of 50's encounters in the record label boardrooms, as well as rivalries during his superstardom, and compares them closesly to the challenges on the streets. Surprisingly, Greene links both worlds very closely, the difference being that the streets give a hustler immediate danger, while the music world doesn't, but still can be just as ruthless.

For a Law as simple as "Fear Nothing", it goes into a lot of depth. Highly reccomended for business types, and people interested comparing streets to the corporate jungle.

I read that earlier this year... it is great.

Good recommendation for anyone looking to start their own company or just become fearless in general.

I also read this early this year and thought it was a good read. I'm a fan of Greene's other works, and so I gave this one a chance and wasn't disappointed!
