Any conflict aviodence and resolution books

Hey guys I start university soon and will be moving out, however my student housing is in quite a poor area and I will be spending alot of my nights walking back through the area alone. Now I quite a big guy so I can handle myself but as I'm not a small guy, but as a bigger guy you do get alot more attention, in a bad way.

Are there any books that teach people to instead of meeting aggresion head on but to yours your brain to get round it? Any ideas

Note: I am not looking for a slef defence book more a conflict aviodnce book though I do understand that most self defence books have a large section on this area.
