    Default Neuro-Linguistic Programming

The hype of NLP has died down in The Community compared to previous years. I was wondering if anyone has had any success with NLP, and if so what kind of programs (preferably books) are good and practical.

    Please expand.

    Hey Mr OT,

I am a general fan of NLP. To this end I'm a fan of Ross Jeffries and his techniques - although I am aware that a lot of people don't like SS. I tend to mix SS into a general pick up pattern of: open, hook, comfort, escalation, close; incorporating NLP. Girls respond really well to NLP e.g. changing colours of bad memories to black and white and then shrinking the image etc.

I am an NLP practitioner as well, but the most useful program I have come across is actually an overpriced nlp selling course at $97. However, as far as books go I would suggest the NLP Workbook by O'Connor.

    hope this helps

Sweet. Thanks man! I really appreciate it. I'll look into both.

I picked up a book at my school library called Using Your Brain for a change a beginners guide to NLP. Didnt really go much into embedded commands but did talk about all the basics and really blew my mind.

NLP is one of the best things you can ever learn, but you have to be open minded. I've studied NLP in depth with trained NLP teachers for over a year and it is really, really, powerful and really expands your mind. But you have to be open minded and willing to draw comparisons, because NLP doesn't give you "5 funky steps to get her attracted to you," it gives you systems to get results that you want.
