People need to knock it off with NLP. It is an outdated technique. Nobody uses it anymore. Learning NLP because you read about it in The Game is like robbing a bank with a 6 shooter and a horse cause that's how Billy the Kid used to do it.in the movies. PUA is an everchanging art/science that will never be absolute, surefire, or guaranteed. You have to learn to adapt to different techniques and societal norms.

Obviously people will still want to know how to get girls to take off their clothes with hypnosis, so by all means continue to learn NLP. Enjoy the early 90s. Bring me some digimon cards and a VHS of saved by the bell:the college years while you're there.

    Ba humbug

You crazy kids stay off my lawn etc etc
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming WOW...What a Ride!

I just want to use NLP to sharpen my mental skills. Doesn't necessarily need to be my main technique. The point of being a PUA is to be successful in all facets of life, correct?

yeah... nlp can be quite effective if you couple it with mystery methode, imo most pua techniques can be ageless so long as you adapt them to meet your needs.

at the very least reading about nlp will sharpen your vocabulary and help you to add lots of emotion to your dhv stories.

btw, the easiest nlp technique to master is "describe emotions" (it really is that simple, when you vivodly describe an emotion or feeling to someone, they can't help but experience that emotion if you do it well) i like to use it to enhance my dhv stories and it works like a charm

Monsters and Magical Sticks is the Gateway drug for NLP, that book blew my mind and started me down the NLP Path.

The reason why i even started reading about NLP is because it helps me to become a better mentalist since you can use it to do insane cold reading and believe it or not it does help when it comes to pick up, ( why don't you check out Derren Brown a street hypnotist on youtube and tell me if his skills aren't sick ) thats the only reason i would suggest anyone learning nlp. not because they say you can model yourself after somebody and you become that and blah blah blah , but its just good to know how the brain works and how its wired thats all, so i would just suggest anyone the big book on nlp 200+ Patterns and Strategies of Neuro linguistic programing (if you want to learn it thats the book to learn it from its dry and boring and filled with useless patters , only reason i needed it for Shift pattern to to take something and to replace with something else (which is used for performance trick performance with the persons colors of a car ))
if you want to learn the concepts of hypnosis, cold readings, magic and other interesting stuff Read Derren Brown "tricks of the Mind"
