    Default Fish oil supplements?

Just wondered if anyone uses fish oil supplements? I have been reading they are a good source of protein and have fat burning properties too. Let me know what you know.

I'm not an expert, so I don't know if this answers your question. Pure fish oil has no protein in it, it is all fat. A quick check of the nutritional label on a bottle of fish oil tablets will confirm that for you. Who ever told you that probably meant that cold water fish such as Salmon, Cod, or Tuna is a good source of fish oil and protein. Omega 3 is the fat acid that is helpful to the body that is contained in fish oil. I'd just skip the expensive pills and enjoy a nice piece of Salmon or go get sushi twice a week. In the long run its better for social life and will save you some money. Just my opinion.

fish oils are good for DHAs, omega 3 and some have omega 6 but it depends, as for their functions I can't remember them all so I'd suggest googling and researching them before you get them, as far as I know the fish oil itself doesn't contain protein, it'd be mad if it did have like 30g in the capsule :P

I have been using Fish Oil for years and the stuff is amazing. I would look up information on dosage, frequency etc. Personally, I take about 1,000 mg a day and nothing else ( I am a skeptic of ALL supplements).

Make sure you spend the extra $5 to get the good fish oil cause the lower end brands could have pcb, some chemical that you do not want in you

I have tired its good but i personally prefer taking it in real form not as a supplement because they add some steroids in it which are bad for us that can cause side-effects.So have food which is natural rather than nay pills or powders.

    Try using Flaxseed oil.
Very good ratio of Omega 3, 6, and 9's.
More bioavailable than fish oil tablets too

No way I'd pay those kind of prices. Yikes! If you have money to burn othen, go for it. But otherwise, stick to something else.
