You've probably seen the adverts on TV for Insanity. I did too and I decided to find a used dvd set online. I picked one up for $50 and I'm currently in my 7th week. I thought I would write a quick thing here for guys looking to get fit and lose fat quickly.

The reason for buying this workout program was to lose fat and start getting fit quickly without having to buy expensive equipment or spend all my free time working out. All of that and I wanted a program that I could easily follow and start seeing results because, I don't really have a clue about working out.

When I first started out I was 175lbs and 6'. I've lost about 12 pounds and my abs are really defined now. I can see a difference in my whole body actually. It's pretty exciting! Even after the first month, I already started to see my 6 pack showing up. The first month the workouts are around 45 minutes or so and the 2nd month they average around an hour and are a lot more intense. You work out 6 days a week and one of the days is a "recovery" workout where you do stretching exercises to prevent injury.

The workouts in the beginning were pretty tough because I was hungover and f*cked up for about 5 days straight, but after a while I started getting addicted to Insanity because I've never seen results this quickly before. My confidence is incredibly high now; I can take off my shirt at the pool or lake and feel good about myself and I do notice more woman checking me out now. I think this has mostly to due with the confidence and body language I'm showing now.

I would definitely recommend this to guys that want to lose fat quickly and start getting fit.

If any of you have used Insanity, I would like to hear about your results too.

I just started insanity about 4 days ago and it is the hardest thing I have ever done! I just finished doing 90 days of p90x and this workout still kicks my butt. Best of luck to you on your insanity journey!

Yeah, Insanity is pretty tough. It has a lot of cardio, but after a while, the workouts start to get easier... Then the second month gets twice as hard! I just finished my first round of Insanity and I dropped from 175 to around 162. I can definitely see an improvement in my abs and muscles all over my body.

I was going to start another round, but I stopped paying for my gym membership. It's just way too expensive and I don't have enough room at my place to do Insanity. I guess I'll have to start jogging and doing pushups to keep in shape now...

BTW I also have P90x, but decided to try Insanity first. Did you see some pretty good results after 90 days? To me, right or wrong, it seems Insanity starts to get you in shape and toned and P90x gets you ripped...

Insanity is a great starter program before you start with a weight training program. It will give you a great overall strength base. There is sites online where you can get it for free but that's up to you of course
