    Default P90x

    Hey guys,

Just wanted to share my experience with p90x. So I have been doing it for the last 11 weeks (two more weeks left) and I am absolutely loving it! Besides helping me get into better shape and putting on muscle, it has helped my self confidence big time. Anybody who has ever completed the 90 days, I applaud you for sticking with it. It is very tough! As far as for anyone looking into trying it, it is very time consuming (Hour to a hour and a half) and you do a ton of pullups (one of the discs they do close to 150 pullups!) But in the end it is well worth it. The end result of p90x, regardless of if you did it for 30 days or all 90 days, is you are working on a better you! In the end, that is all that matters. As Tony Horton likes to say, "Do your best, and forget the rest!"

So go press play and bring it!

I gotta say from my own experience that P90X is awesome. I fell off for 2 weeks but got back on after doing it for 2 weeks straight almost. It's extremely hard and when Horton says to "Pace yourself." during the first workout, he's not kidding. You need to endure the whole workout to get the best results so go easy on yourself with the first sets of pushups, pullups, etc.

It's an awesome workout though and I definitely recommend it. It's a little expensive I guess because of the program and accompanying materials you might need to get like a pull-up bar but it's totally worth it in my eyes. Highly recommended.

Lol I've been on and off that thing for that last year. I get more consistent each time, but something always comes up. Mainly new girls that get me all distracted lol. But my buddy wants to get back in shape and we started it yesterday. So maybe having a partner will push both of us.

Its good to hear that both of you guys are getting back into p90x! Half the battle is getting the motivation to press play. I just finished my 90 days and now I'm on to insanity. Best of luck to the both of you!

A friend of mine started this, he only did it for a month, but the results he shown were promising, and if he did it for the full 90 days he'd have shown good improvements I think. I am going through the book "Fighting Fit" at the minute (military related fitness).

However, I have done p90x's yoga regularly which my friend lent me, to help with flexibility, and have to say it gave me really good results, and after just a few weeks I had really good results. I am going to try the stretch x video soon also. Only down side is you might need to watch the video through once to do everything properly, you really need to have a rough idea of what to do first.

150 pull-ups , wow that sounds really hard.

Can you keep up, and do all of them?
