I did herbalife for awhile. Makes you lose weight fast but I had to drop out because it's too expensive. Between weight loss supplements, protein shakes etc it costs like 100 bucks a month. And as with any diet supplement, you gain the weight back if your not careful.

I wouldn't say it gives you more energy though. It curbs your appetite. Actually, while I was on it I now recall taking many more naps than I do now. Could be a reaction to meds I was taking then but I do remember needing to sleep more often back then.

Oh yeah totally, I work as an IT consultant for a big4 company. So I really put in loads of hours (almost never less than 50 hours/week). But I really enjoy the job, and it's in prospect of my future goals in life. Don't want to skip the job...

Everyday I have breakfast between 7-8AM, I eat a big bowl of muesli (cornflakes, the one with several types of fruit in it). This is also what I eat for dinner.

In between I try to eat 3 pieces of fruit a day.

Thanks for the replies !!! Much appreciated!

look, you really may have to choose between your social life and your job. you need to cut back one or the other so you can get enough sleep to stay healthy.

your body needs sleep to repair itself and to replenish hormones. if you don't ever get much sleep, you will be at much higher risk for all kinds of health problems. (aside from just being tired all the time)

damn... how do you survive on that little sleep? I'm 20 years old and I still have to get at least 8 hours a night to feel rested at all...

you really should try to find more time to sleep. I had a friend who died because of sleep deprivation (he fell asleep driving home after working a 16 hour shift)

its hard to focus on anything if you don't get enough sleep. even if sleeping means dropping some of your plans with friends, it will be well worth it.

    Thanks for the advice Meteora!

I canceled a few of my over-optimistic plans this weekend, which resulted in getting two nights of 7hour-sleep. Already feeling a bit better, but still not optimal.

I'll give the sleeping a two week try, if it's better afterwards.. I guess we found the main reason.

    Going to keep you updated
