Default My experience after 2 months of using Nootropics (Legal Brain Supplements)

Yea, so I just started doing 'Nootropics' and I noticed a few differences from how I function off of them.

For those of you that aren't sure what nootropics are: They are legal brain supplements that help protect your brain against aging, improve memory and many other facets.

Among the many differences I've noticed, I will label the most noticeable below...

    1) I have more energy:

Yes this is definitely a bonus because after a long day of work I can head home and pop one of these bad-boys and increase my productivity by 150%.

So lets say I'm working for corporate America during the day, while kissing ass and minding my p's and q's; when I get home I can refresh my energy level and work for myself.

    2) I can drink more without getting shitfaced:

I don't know if this is a benefit, but when I go to the strip-club it definitely gets me noticed.

I've noticed after going to a certain place for awhile: I can raise my value by always being in control and never acting a fool.

Bartenders and waitresses (Who are usually the hottest girls working in the clubs) have taken notice and the positive attention I get from them leads to me never leaving a club without a Stripper's number.

The funny thing is that I hardly ever spend more than 100$ when I go and still get numbers and hang out with girls outside the club; which is nice.

    3) I can focus much better, get work done faster and at a higher quality level:

So I am a self-published writer and also write for a little extra income on the side. I am able to meet deadlines easier and hardly ever am I late.

Everyone is always more than satisfied with the final product and I have many regulars for things such as article writing, reviews, etc, etc.

I think if you are an aspiring writer yourself then utilizing the available resources that will improve your productivity is a great choice. Considering there is definitely a lot of work involved.

    So to finish off...

There are the main differences that the 'Nootropic train' has showed me and I rate these supplements to be extremely useful and great for anyone that needs to sit down and do anything at a desk without distractions.

Thanks for reading and hope I was able to help some of you.

I'm a molecular biologist with a PhD in biology. What you are taking is basically a form of Methylphenidate or Ritalin. It is a stimulant like caffeine that has been shown to improve mental function, memory, attention, and motivation as you have found out. My only concern is that there is no data on the long term health effects of using these drugs and there have been studies showing they are dangerous for people with underlying cardiac issues. You would also get the same effect if you drank two 8oz cans of Red Bull, but if it's working for you then that's good, just be aware if you notice any physical issues in your body.

I've taken Adderall before and that is much stronger than this. I only take one Nootropics pill a day and I only take it when I feel I need it. Some days I go without it, if I don't need the boost, and it's not uncommon for me to go more than a couple of days without it.

But thanks for the prompt response and for sharing your opinion.

    Cheers.

L-Theanine is an amino acid that can improve your mood, reduce stress, and help you focus. Theanine also improves your alpha wave activity,
It has also been found to increase dopamine the chemical in the brain, which is released during pleasant activities such as exercising, sex and eating chocolate that produces a sense of well being. L-Theanine has been studied for many years in Japan and there are no long term negative health effects .... some studies done in the US suggest it also makes cancer treatments work better but I think we need more studies before we can say for sure. Green tea has high levels of L-Theanine and is a good alternative to taking a pill ..... it's a good supplement and most people would benefit from taking it

LOL ...... I know my mom wanted me to be a doctor, but I liked the research end of things so much I became a molecular biologist. I was in developmental neurobiology research but I am now moving into a new lab to work in cancer research ( colon cancer) where I hope my work can help make a difference ...... as a side to the L-Theanine, I was in a Korean market the other day and picked up some green tea, it was the worst tasting shit ever ...... I'll stick with Snapple but everybody try to get in your L-Theanine
