    Question How do you help yourself when not in good shape?

    I'm currently fat, there is no point lying to myself or anyone else about it as I did it to myself and it's pretty damned obvious. I am doing something about it though and losing weight slowly but steadily at around 2lbs a week; sometimes more sometimes less. But it is going to take time, I have a long way to go yet.

    I try to keep myself well groomed, but I have no idea how to dress best for my height and weight. I have no idea what the best colognes (aftershaves) are to wear, having a pretty round face should I keep my hair long or short etc I just don't really know where to begin.

    Although a detailed guide would be appreciated I'm more interested in pointers etc etc

    Good job bro, yes it's gonna take some time but improving yourself is slow and steady the best!

    Also what kind of training are you doing and what are you eating?
    Pro tip: Try to use a eating schedule to keep track of what your eating, beside that use a training schedule.

    Thanks for the links, particularly to the video, the guy he's helping is similar in build, height and face shape to me.... not sure what to do with my hair though... keep it shaved or grow it a bit and style it, I did have it styled for about a year but it wasn't really me if you get me.

    I solved that style issue by buying cloths with girls and taking a befriended girl to the hairdressers.
    As much as i hated going shopping. Now i like it because its the ideal place to practice daygame. besides you are walking with a girl its pre-selection = more chances

    It felt strange in the beginning for me to when getting a new hair cut. (For how long i don't know because am balding at age 20 x"D and i can laugh about it. When girls say i am looking old i just say to them no, i'm more mature then your boyfriend with hair.)

    Besides that you will get used to it, as the most of us seek confirmation that our new looks and behaviors are right.
    Your naturally going to seek for that and you will find it. its in our dna to do that.

    An HG I know clued me into some stuff that helped me. Basically eat something every three hours. Make sure to eat something small and nutrition... Fruit cup, salad, yogurt... Eat a regular lunch and dinner and stop eating at about 6pm or so. Do cardio half hour a day. After losing 15 pounds, start working out with weights.
    Simple stuff but really helped me a lot. Oh and six water bottles a day (more if excersize is intense) and no soda. And cut out small things that add calories... Mayo, creammy salad dressings etc. Green apples are great appetite suppressors because of fiber. And they have only 34 calories. Have fun! I hope u get it handled!

    Read a lot, a lot of reliable articles on proper dieting.

    You need to bulk up first, so you have a decent muscle base. Any basic first timer's program like Rippetoe SS 5x5 or Babylover's SS 5x5 would work. You can find them online.

    After a few months of that, start Ice Cream Fitness 5x5. You can also probably start cutting on fat now. You have to eat below maintenance calories for a while. This can mean just keep eating the same and do a lot of cardio, or just eat less.

    Basically keep repeating the bulking/cutting. You should probably read a lot more though.

    And after just a year or maybe even less, you'll be looking pretty good.

    Then if you really get into it, once you hit a really nice weight you can start the jooce
