    Default What is the fastest way to get big?

    Obviously, the arms need to get big most.... Biceps and triceps...

    There is limited time in the day and I can't be a gym rat my whole life, although I could certainly do more...

    At this point, I will work out at home... my shoulders are naturally okay...

    Do you think it's okay to skip legs? Do girls really look at your legs? I don't really want to spend my whole life in the gym... but then again, I want those 10's, don't I?

    How much time do you guys spend in the gym?

    And I also know of guys who are jacked that don't get very much sex, so there's more to it than that, and I've also heard girls say that they think guys spend way too much time on their bodies and less time earning more money....

    When Pimpin' was on here, he showed my picture to some girls... they said that if I joined a gym, I would be twice as attractive... and if I were a millionaire, I'd be 1000x as attractive.... so it's not everything....

    Also, you know they like the dick better than the biceps, so I don't really WANT to spend my whole damn life in the gym... am I just complaining here?

    G'day,

    - 10-12 reps will be your go. Generally when people want to get stronger they'll use lower reps with higher weight but you seem to be more focussed on the visual side of things and more reps help keep your muscles swole.
    - Are you active outside of gym? (i.e. other sports, hiking, etc) because that can reduce the need to spend so much time at the gym
    - I recommend doing legs too, even if it's only once a week, girls also appreciate great and even good legs (I've had them compliment mine and they aren't overly special). Plus many leg exercises such as squats engage your core which helps your abs improve
    - Speaking of which, seek to engage your core in every exercise you do, some schools of thought suggest you can get killer abs without doing a crunch if you great at engaging them through your other exercises. I don't necessarily subscribe to it in that extreme but it helps
    - HIIT training is great for burning fat while simultaneously maintaining and even slightly building muscle, this may work for you as a busy individual since it can be done in a quicker time frame
    - Just as important as exercise is the food. Make sure you get tonnes of protein in you if you want to develop muscles. Food like cottage cheese and salmon is great for this. Ensure you get good fats (mono and poly) into your system. The other important thing to remember is to have a carb surplus in your daily diet which results in muscle development. You can use protein shakes if you want, they work for their purpose but aren't a must have.

    In the end, if you put in the work, you'll get the results. Really if you do a little something every day and don't eat terribly you'll at least have a decent body, great bodies take sacrifice in one way or another. If you can sacrifice an hour 3 or 4 days a week and maybe 30 minutes 2 other days you'd be alright. Though to be honest, most guys with your attitude towards it don't tend to stick it out for long. I wish you luck though

    I know.... but my attitude toward building my business is great.... I would rather be a slightly skinny millionaire than a jacked guy who makes $30,000/year....

    And I also know that once I stop working out... I will shrink to my normal size within a week.... I've done this before....

    This is one of those great changes I should make that will get me to the next level.... I already bought a bench for my house so I don't even need to go to the gym...

    12 reps... but how many sets? Let's say bicep curls for instance... do you think if I did 4 x 12 every day, that would be good? and I could adjust the weight to whatever I could handle....

    3-4 sets would be good, but you want to be doing a variety of movements in your work out. Bicep curls are not all that important if you're doing pull ups, seated rows or similar since these engage your biceps anyway, and you hit other muscles too. These different exercises develop smaller muscles in your body that will improve your overall fitness and help avoid injury, since your body is used to stabilising itself in multiple ways

    You're looking to develop those micro-tears in your muscles, if you focus on form in your exercises and do a full range of motion in every set you'll have better success.

    I've heard gymnastics is especially good for those micro fibers.

    Planches to be specific. Basically like a hand stand.
