Default Foods That Burn Belly Fat

As the intentions of our New Yearís resolutions slowly slip away from us as January turns into February and the rest of the year passes us by; we lose our aspirations for the goals we have intended year after year to keep. Losing weight is a well known and well intended aspiration that slowly falls behind as other more future pressing events take shape in our day to day lives.

However, through the successful and efficient plan in choosing the correct fat burning foods there is little if no work involved in burning off unwanted fat thatís been clogging up arteries and more importantly, burning off that undesired body fat!

Through foods intoxicated with nutrients, vitamins and flavor; that body fat will simply be an unmissed memory of 2011! This is the year where change happens and fat loses itís grip on you:

There are eight foods that will burn belly fat and make that New Year Resolution not just obtainable, but easy. Here is a list of foods that burn belly fat.

Salmon: is fully loaded with protein and Omega-3 amino fatty acids improving your metabolism and burning more fat. The fatty acids inherent in this food also increase cardiovascular health which helps your body in the fight against heart disease.

Turkey: is packed with protein for higher calorie burning and is also naturally lower in fat compared to chicken and other meats not mentioned specifically in this diet.

Beef: (particularly lean beef) is loaded with protein and it also contains iron which is essential for the creation of hemoglobin in your red blood cells.

Green Tea: is an essential fat burning drink due mainly to the EGCG contained within it which stimulates your brain and nervous system causing your body to burn a much higher rate of calories. Green tea also has effective antioxidants and extensive research has shown it to even reduce the risk of various types of cancers. Furthermore, green tea has been proven to help lower overall cholesterol levels and improve the ratio of good cholesterol to bad cholesterol.

Skim Milk: contains significant amounts of calcium which helps increase your metabolism and burn those unwanted calories! There has been extensive research which shows that those who drink milk or low-fat dairy products daily, have less body fat ratios than those who donít. Skim milk is best, but 1% milk is a good alternative.

Edamame: are soy beans which have been lightly boiled and salted. These beans are an excellent source of protein, Vitamin C, iron, and calcium! They also contain 0g of saturated fats, so enjoy them as often as youíd like.

Broccoli: is a well known super food that you can never eat enough of. It is packed with nutrients including calcium, vitamin A, vitamin C, folic acid, and fiber. The calcium, vitamin C and fiber all aid in burning fat and increasing your metabolism. Also it is full of antioxidants that provide a multitude of health benefits! Including, decreasing the risk of heart disease and various types of cancers.

Oats: are a great source of selenium which boosts your energy and enhances your immune system by producing antibodies. They are also a great food to fill up on as they are loaded with fiber!

Make 2011 count and donít waste this opportunity to lose fat and lose it quickly and easily! The best time to start is now! And with a method as easy as this, thereís no point in waiting for tomorrow to start losing fat and eating healthy. This is no mere New Yearís Resolution, but a lifestyle which starts now!

Thumbs up Re: Foods That Burn Belly Fat

    Not bad advice there.

If you are going to eat any form of meat, make sure all of the fat is trimmed off. I'm in the process of replacing meat consumption with tofu and beans. I ate some chicken yesterday, today I wish I didn't. I am starting to think that meat eating changes my subjective experience - in a bad way.

Avoid just about all fast food.

Learn to cook yourself, it will save you money also.

I also believe starchy foods should also be avoided, eg rice pasta and potatoes.

Of course you should be exercising. Ideally a combination of weight training and cardio.

My principles work for me: I'm 5'8" and weigh 140 pounds.

well if you don't eat for 2 weeks and you're not being active its not going to do you much good. yes, may be i'm only on day 2of not eating, but in these 2 days, ive been drinking plenty of water and walking anywhere id like to go. i spent 2 hours doing tae bo videos. point is, you cant just sit around and expect weight to fall off of you. you've got to exercise, as well.
    taking vitamins is also helpful.

Eat several small balanced meals per day. Make sure that you cover each of the food groups each day. You need fruits, vegetables, and grains in multiple servings everyday. You need meat and dairy products once or twice a day. By making sure that your body gets the right amounts of the right foods, you will limit the amount of stored energy that builds on the body in the form of fat. By eating several times a day, you increase your metabolism. It works better for weight loss than three larger meals in a day.

Certain fats are good for you and your body needs them. Olive oil is one of those "good fats". In fact, it's so good that it helps you burn stomach fat and keeps your cholesterol down.

Olive oil is rich in monounsaturated fat, a type of fat that researchers are finding provide outstanding health benefits. One ounce of extra virgin olive oil contains about 85% of the daily value for monounsaturated fat.

I will be racing my 11th ironman on sunday, again over my ideal race weight (176cm, 77 kg). I tried a lot, got confused, but will give it a honest try for next year. In fact come end of may 2010 I will decide, whether I prepare for another Ironman Florida ( if I have less than 70kg starting the advanced plan), or give up long course racing. I will focus all my energy on getting quicker (with a short distance plan) and loosing weight for a year, while not loosing strength.

I have the ironman experienced plan, read the nutrition part, but I am still confused. So would anybody who did the same plan post a nutrition outline? What to eat/dring in the morning/snacks/lunch/evening/sports nutrition.

There is no fat burn food in the world, 15 pounds of pure fat is not little , there is nothing to burn fat, but exercise and eat less. You have to focus to avoid fatty food, deep fried food and junk food, and take "healthy" food in your diet. Try exercise with your heart rate 70-80% 30-45 minutes 6 times a week, and control you daily intake around 1200 cal, then you will lose 2 lbs weekly.

Well it is wrong to say that there is no food to burn fats and in my thinking vegetables are used for this purpose because vegetables have less fats and it is good for loosing weight. And it doesn't mean that only depends on vegetables also do some exercise.
