    Default Body-For- Life Program

    Hi guys,

I'm busy doing the body-for-life programme.

I'm 5 weeks into the 12 week programme. I've missed only 4 days, so am quite happy with my consistency.

After week 1 I was pretty exhausted and didn't think I would be able to last but my energy levels soon increased dramatically.

The first thing I noticed was my weight loss. I've moved my belt 2 notches, and whilst I did see some toning it hasn't been too noticeable - or so I thought. Last night I ran into some old friends who asked if I'd been working out and said that I look really good.

I was never a fat guy but I was starting to pick up some weight.

The book also has an eating plan - basically 6 smaller meals thoughout the day for 6 days and one day you can eat whatever you want.

I haven't been dogmatically strict with my diet e.g. with the supplements, but I have been eating very well with only few lapses.

The book was written by a guy named Bill Phillips in the 90s and is still on the shelves which I think is a testament to the programme. However, yuo can probably find the workout for free on some of the bodybuilding websites. The book though is a very inspiring read and highly recommended

Eager to see the outcome after 12 weeks.

    Default Re: Body-For- Life Program

I'm in my last week for body-for-life.

I repeated a few weeks so the 12 week program has taken 15 weeks. I look and feel great. During the program I also kicked smoking, without gum or patches - just focused on fitness. I have zero cravings.

My diet has improved significantly and I had all my pants taken in by 2 inches.

I never took creatine or bought the programs recommended protein bars which are expensive, but I did take a soya protein supplement.

I wasn't following the program to its strictest sense; my aim was to be relatively consistent and fairly disciplined so perhaps followed it 75%-80% to its ideal. The results are fantastic and I highly recomend it.

My stomach is rock hard and I've lined up another program called critical ripped which is over 8 weeks.
